| Game Summary |
| The Generals got a little revenge in beating their rival Little Giants after losing a NHC Blue Division to Fremont Ross (in Fremont) on December 6th. Zak Seipel scored at the 10 second mark of the opening period (the clock was inadvertently not started until 45 seconds of play had elapsed) to give the Generals the early lead. Zach Ulrich's power play goal only 1:22 later put the Little Giants in a hole from which they never recovered. Urich scored his second goal in the second period and Robin Aubry scored his 3rd goal of the tournament late in the third period. Mike Smith, Ross's 1st Team all NHC Blue Division Forward, scored his team's only goal early in the third period. Dan Koralewski stymied almost every scoring effort. Smith's goal was awarded when the puck went in with bodies strewn in and around the goal. |
